Course

The 1.5 mile course loop is slightly flat with some elevation gain per lap (~50’gain/lap) and consists of GRAVEL/dirt roads, some grassy areas and a bit of asphalt. This is a difficult course- with the gravel and open exposure to the sun and heat.  This race is not for wimps.  You have to be mentally tough to endure this race.

The road is wide enough to allow for easy passing. The course is certified through the USATF. There will be one Aid Station at the end of the loop, near the timing station. This aid station will be fully stocked with the usual ultra type food/drinks, ie water, electrolyte drink, energy gels, cookies, fruit, potato chips, chocolate, pretzels, pb&j, broth, etc. If you have special dietary needs/electrolyte drinks, please plan to bring your own. Runners will be allowed to set up personal supplies at their tent site or their car. There will be a bath house with flush toilets near the Aid Station.
